About the role We are looking to employ an HR coordinator with outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. An HR coordinator is expected to be a
conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and time management skills. You will have excellent administrative and IT skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
â Assist with all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
â Maintain both hard and digital copies of employees' records.
â Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
â Assist with performance management procedures.
â Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
â Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
â Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
â Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
â Assist with payroll and ad-hoc HR projects.
â Support other assigned functions.
â Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in human resources or related.
- South African unemployed youth aged between 18 and 34.
- Must not have taken part in the YES Program before.
- Effective HR administration and people management skills.
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
