Responsibilities
- Providing quality care, direction, guidance, and help to customers with daily activities, such as bathing, feeding, planning menus, dressing, grooming, taking medication, administering treatments, and housework.
- Help customers make and keep appointments, provide or arrange transportation to run errands, and serve as a companion.
- Help customers achieve agreed-upon goals to improve quality of life and integration into the community.
- Provide written daily updates of each shift’s activities using an online platform.
- Observe the customer’s condition and monitor the surroundings to ensure customer safety and success, including monitoring of equipment and materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
General Requirements for All ICM Employees
- Understands and endorses ICM’s mission and vision.
- Follows all ICM policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and asks for clarification and explanation when needed.
- Understands and complies with all HIPAA regulations.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (some positions require additional education).
- Maintains prompt and regular attendance.
Qualifications
Education
Required: High School or better.
Experience
Required:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
At least one year of relevant supervised work experience with public health, human services, or other community service agency.
OR two years of verifiable successful history working with persons with developmental disabilities.
Licenses & Certifications
Required:
Valid AR Driver's License.
Valid Auto Insurance.
