In the Events Team we celebrate creative problem solving, autonomy and integrity in our approach to work.Main Duties/Responsibilities: The research, development, design, production and delivery of allocated eventsBudget planning, content programming, new supplier sourcing, contract negotiations and identifying new revenue sponsorship opportunitiesProducing all relevant production paperwork including but not limited to site plans, event management plans, safety and emergency plansBooking and managing casual staff assisting with events and ensuring that they are fully briefedActing as the appointed site manager and assisting with the physical set up and dismantling of events, including the management of contractors and suppliers and the distribution and return of events equipment / stores and vehicles as requiredAs required, acting as a personal licence holder at events under the relevant venue’s premises licenceSupporting the production team with the delivery of all events produced by Enable EventsCollaborating with the Senior Events Producer to research and develop new eventsLiaising with the Marketing Team to ensure they are fully briefed in sufficient time to develop and create marketing strategies and produce relevant marketing collateralBooking and managing casual staff and performing staff briefings, creating and managing staff rotasLiaising with statutory / Council services and contractors ahead of events, including but not limited to the following: Environmental Services, Building Control, Highways & Parking, Waste Management, Emergency Services, Public transport operators, Security & First Aid contractors, Grounds Maintenance contractors, and Service and equipment suppliersAssisting with the physical set up and dismantling of events and the distribution and return of events equipment and vehicles as requiredAs required, acting as a personal licence holder at events under the Battersea Park premises licenceArranging / attending all event production meetings and participating in Safety Advisory Group meetingsBudget creation and management, P&L reportingAchieving targeted income set by the Head of EventsMonthly reconciliation of the Detailed Transaction ReportCollating and reviewing all contractor H&S documentationApplying for TENS and other relevant licensingRaising, filing and organising finance documentation including purchase orders and invoices and keeping the budget up-to-date with all recorded income and expensesDealing with relevant queries and complaints raised by clients, members of the public and production suppliers or contractors within the agreed timeframes. When necessary, escalating complaints to the Deputy Head of EventsLiaising closely with the wider Events Team and other Enable services to ensure that the events programme is coordinated properly in conjunction with the venues management teamCarrying out other duties as directed by the Head of EventsSkills and Experience: Proven and demonstrable experience of producing and delivering medium to large public outdoor eventsExcellent budgeting skills and a keen understanding of creating commercially successful eventsConfidence in producing all relevant production paperwork including, but not limited to, site plans, event safety management plans, RAMS, production schedules and briefing documentsExperience with working across multiple large-scale budgets and staying on top of finance administrationExperience of booking artists/ performers, sourcing event infrastructure and enforcing health & safety measuresPassion for creating events to entertain a wide-ranging audience and diverse communityExceptionally high standards of customer service, attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to communicate effectively and professionally in writing, by telephone or face to face with senior management, other staff, clients and members of the publicHands on/ proactive onsite and pride yourself on going the extra mile to create the best event possibleA team player but also be able to manage your workload independentlyAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectivelyProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and have had experience with Xero or other accounting softwarePersonal Licence (this can be obtained on joining but required for Premises Licence and TEN applications)This role will require schedule flexibility and the ability to work weekends, early mornings, and late nights and manage your time accordingly.
