They already partner with leading digital platforms, and brands to deliver cutting-edge sports content that captivates millions of fans worldwide. As part of their ongoing growth and development they are seeking an exceptional, sales-driven leader to join their UK team as the VP of Sales and spearhead international growth. As the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing a global sales strategy to maximise commercial opportunities across key territories. You will lead a sales team, build relationships with digital platforms, sponsors, and commercial partners, and drive revenue growth through innovative sales strategies. This role demands a highly ambitious and target-oriented professional with a proven track record in the sports, media, or entertainment industries. An understanding of international markets, a strong network of industry contacts, and the ability to provide end to end management of multiple six and seven figure deals are essential. Key responsibilities include:Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement an international sales strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives. Identify new business opportunities and partnerships in key global regions.Revenue Generation: Drive sales across multiple platforms (broadcast, digital, sponsorship) with a focus on securing high-value deals. Maximise revenue potential from existing partnerships and identify new revenue streams.Client Relations: Build and maintain relationships with top-tier sponsors, and commercial partners. Negotiate and close major sales deals across global markets.Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and manage an international sales team. Set performance targets, provide coaching, and ensure the team delivers exceptional results.Market Analysis & Expansion: Stay informed of industry trends and emerging market opportunities. Analyse global sports media landscapes to identify growth potential and ensure the company remains at the forefront of the market.Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders across marketing, legal, and operations as well as external agency partners to deliver seamless and successful sales strategies.We are looking for an individual with 10+ years of experience in a senior sales role, preferably within sports, media, or entertainment industries. You will be a sales and success driven individual with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in international markets, ideally with a strong network of contacts with commercial partners in the sports industry. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills along with experience leading and developing high-performance sales teams are essential as is the ability to think strategically and execute with precision along with a willingness to travel internationally as needed.
