Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the procurement of goods and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and manage purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings.
- Assist in the preparation of procurement reports and presentations for management.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Grade 12/Matric certificate; a qualification in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in procurement or supply chain operations is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with procurement software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
