Chef de Partie/Sous Chef – salary dependant on experience
We are looking for a talented chef to join an award-winning team.
Job Description
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic chef to work within a restaurant that has 2AA Rosettes and has won Lincolnshire Restaurant of the year.
Working alongside the head chef to create modern, classical, Italian food.
You will be happy to have input on the menu/specials, with freshness key, everything is made fresh onsite, with seasonal and frequently changing menu.
48 hours 4.5 days over 7, including split shifts Wednesday-Saturday 9.30am-3pm/5.30pm-10/11pm flexible
Weekend work is essential.
Will be needed to assist the head chef with the day to day running of the business and become an integral part of a very ‘family focused’ team.
Person Specification
- Minimum 2 years kitchen experience.
- Must have a good base knowledge and cooking ability and be able to competently show skills such as sous vide, roast, poach, panfry, braise, deep fry and cure.
- Must be able to work within a busy kitchen environment and take responsibility for its efficient running. Providing up to 80 covers
- Enthusiastic, creative, driven, willingness to learn, willingness to develop skill set and palette, good hygiene standards. efficient and punctual.
- Excellent progression available for the right candidate.
- Have Food Hygiene certificate/Health and Safety certificate.
