KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruitment and Selection (end-to-end):
- Identifying recruitment needs.
- Drafting and designing job descriptions.
- Sourcing candidates through various channels.
- Screening and conducting interviews alongside the relevant line managers.
- Onboarding of new employees and conducting reference checks.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including documentation and onboarding presentations.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, offering guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department.
- Manage HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment and personnel files in compliance with legal requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.
- Employee Welfare:
- Promote employee well-being and contribute to fostering a positive work culture.
- Assist in performance management processes, including conducting performance reviews and providing guidance on performance improvement plans.
- Support employee relations initiatives and contribute to fostering a positive work culture.
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- A Diploma in Human Resource Management/Industrial Psychology is essential, a Degree would be advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a HR role which includes the full recruitment life cycle.
- Experience in the aviation and engineering sector will be advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license.
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, and Word).
- High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
