Job description:
As a lodge Manager, one can experience the unique opportunity to work and live in the secluded natural wildlife locations of Southern Tanzania.
This job is much more than just hosting international visitors, it requires a savvy and organised individual who can proactively maintain and enhance the lodge/camp standards through careful effective management of:
- Staff and staff training
- Strict stock control
- Overseeing building/maintenance work
- Activities organisation
- Finances through the administration of orders and effective stock control
- The lodge standards, ensuring the highest quality of housekeeping and maintenance
- Guest relations to maximise the personalised experience
A key responsibility is to maintain the smooth operation of a remote lodge in Southern Tanzania.
Past successful managers have been those who thrive in the isolated African bush environment, have an eye for detail, and are creative problem solvers and are good communicators.

Requirements:
- Degree or diploma
- Experience in East Africa
- Fluent English
- Experience managing safari camps/lodges
