Job Purpose
To actively contribute to the NFP strategy and business objectives, revenue generation and growth, mandate implementation, team development, management and client relationship building to generate sustainable revenue streams for WMSA.
Job Responsibilities
- Mentor, supervise and coach Financial Planners to ensure their growth and development aligned to regulatory and business requirements.
- Identify training courses and career progression for self and team through feedback from management and personal observation.
- Ensure all personal and team development plan activities are completed within specified timeframe.
- Build talent pipelines of Financial Planners to ensure growth and manage resource risks.
- Share knowledge and industry trends with team and stakeholders during formal and informal interactions.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes through understanding of internal procedures.
- Manage and track individual and team performance according to set metrics and targets for Financial Planners.
- Supervise and ensure the development of people resources.
- Ensure all admin-related responsibilities are addressed timely.
- Support the achievement of business strategy, objectives, and values by reviewing Nedbank and Business Unit policies.
- Build trusted relationships both internally and externally through delivery of quality work and strong communication skills.
- Provide timely resolutions for internal and external stakeholders by addressing client and advice-related queries.
- Ensure advice provided on behalf of WMSA is accurate and aligned to legislative and Nedbank requirements.

- Ensure regulatory compliance, including market conduct, governance, and legal.
Essential Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Professional Qualifications / Honours Degree
- Relevant RE1 and 5 and Key Individual qualifications (CAT 1) and CFP (or working towards)
Minimum Experience Level
5 - 8 years' relevant Financial Planning industry knowledge.
