POSITION SUMMARY
As a Financial Coordinator, you will be pivotal in overseeing and managing the financial operations across Zeren Group’s diverse portfolio, encompassing both external and internal brands. This role involves preparing and analysing financial reports, cash management, ensuring adherence to financial regulations, and delivering precise and timely financial information to our headquarters in Turkiye. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of significant experience in financial management, with a proven track record in leading finance teams and navigating the complexities of financial functions in a Turkiye-UK connected environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Lead and coordinate the financial activities of finance teams for two external and two internal brands, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and strategies.
- Prepare, analyse, and present detailed financial reports to the HQ team in Turkiye, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Ensure strict compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, implementing necessary controls and procedures to mitigate risk.
- Develop and execute financial strategies aimed at enhancing overall performance, optimizing resource allocation, and driving financial efficiencies.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to finance team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment and supporting professional development.
- Collaborate with teams based in the UK and other international offices to ensure uniform financial practices and reporting standards across all regions.
- Analyse financial data to support strategic decision-making processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend actionable solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 7 years of significant experience in financial management within an international company, with exposure to financial operations between Turkey and the UK.
- Proven leadership abilities with a strong track record of effectively managing finance teams and driving financial performance.
- Exceptional analytical skills with extensive experience in financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, feasibility studies, tax planning and data analysis
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information to a range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial management software and tools, with a solid understanding of financial regulations and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; a master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
- Preference will be given to Turkish candidates with relevant international experience. Big4 experience preffered.
