The company is at an exciting stage of expansion, leveraging cutting-edge innovation to drive growth across its product lines. As part of their journey, they are seeking a dynamic and commercially-minded Financial Business Partner to support their continued success.
Role Overview:
The Financial Business Partner will play a critical role in linking the finance function with the broader business, driving commercial decision-making and ensuring financial insights are aligned with strategic goals. This position offers the chance to directly influence business performance and growth while working in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with operational teams to provide financial guidance, supporting strategic business decisions.
- Deliver financial analysis and insights to drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost control.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Work closely with senior management to assess investment opportunities, new product launches, and operational improvements.
- Monitor and optimize working capital and cash flow to support growth objectives.
- Support the preparation and presentation of financial reports for PE investors and senior leadership.
- Drive financial performance reviews, highlighting key drivers of business success and areas for improvement.
- Champion process improvement initiatives to enhance financial efficiency and business operations.
- Contribute to post-acquisition integration and ensure alignment with broader group financial strategy.
Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in financial business partnering within a PE-backed FMCG environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, with a solid understanding of the FMCG sector.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support business growth.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and actionable way.
- Experience in post-acquisition integration and working capital management is highly desirable.
