The Role
As a Marketplace Manager, you will manage Amazon and Pure Player accounts across Europe, focusing on driving revenue and profitability. You will lead strategic initiatives and oversee performance in key markets like the UK, France, Germany, and Italy. The role includes cross-functional collaboration and management of a direct report.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Amazon & Pure Player marketplace accounts to drive revenue and margin growth.
- Develop and execute strategies for business growth and profitability across multiple European markets.
- Manage financial performance metrics, including Net Sales, Gross Margin, and Contribution Margin.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Media, Brand) and external partners (media agencies, distributors).
- Supervise a direct report and work with external stakeholders to enhance marketplace success.
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive experience managing Amazon & Pure Player eCommerce accounts in European markets.
- Expertise in Amazon marketplace operations, including algorithms and optimisation strategies.
- Proven track record in eCommerce sales within consumer-packaged goods (CPG), ideally in Personal Care or Beauty.
- Experience driving revenue growth and managing P&L portfolios.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven strategies.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.
- Fluent in English.
