The Client
Our client are a leading Health & Safety Consultancy, their sole aim is to bring an uncomplicated solution to companies requiring a practical and honest safety partner, allowing companies to concentrate on the day-to-day running of the business. They are looking to add an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to their construction division.
The Role of Health & Safety Advisor
- In this position, you will be adept at providing support from the office or on site. You will be working in a variety of environments, embracing both desk-based responsibilities and site work.
- You will be a results oriented HSEQ advisor to collaborate across all phases of project execution, from Pre-Sales Consultation to Project Completion and H&S File Handovers.
- Giving proactive support and management for the HSE requirements on all aspects of project delivery from pre-sales to handover. · Undertake HSEQ inspections & Audits.
- Attending Project Management & Planning meetings and reporting on H&S performance.
- Offering pragmatic advice on various aspects of Health & Safety to the wider delivery team.
Requirements for the Health & Safety Advisor
- NEBOSH qualification or equivalent.
- Experience within construction & building maintenance environments would be advantageous.
- Effective communicator with strong presentation and report writing skills.
- Client facing experience.
- Ability to work to and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to liaise with staff and operatives at all levels.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages.
- CSCS Safety Professional card.
- High quality standards, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work mix working in the office, at home and on customer sites as works dictate.
