Akin to Hyrox, GRID 400 aims to take on the traditional market for exercise and fitness by creating a community and lifestyle brand that treats customers better.
You will be joining a high performing, small knit team that have experience running London’s most successful gyms as well as a wider group of stakeholders, including advisors who have successfully acquired and sold several businesses in the sector.
Role Description
We have ambitious plans for the next 12 months and plan to launch in the UK and other selected European cities imminently. We are looking for an entrepreneurial co-founder (Head of Commercial) who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and be at the coal face of executing a wide range of deals in the space.
To be successful in this role, you must have in-depth experience in a growth oriented role across sales and marketing. You will have a high level of responsibility in relation to revenue generation and ultimately the commercial success of the company.
In this role, you will also lead on all marketing related activities and have overall responsibility for partnerships, affiliates, lead creation and execution, while reporting directly to the board. The ideal candidate will ideally have prior experience working in a start-up with demonstrated skill in managing and facilitating growth. Sector experience within the health, wellness and fitness sectors will also be favourable.
Responsibilities
· Putting together a growth and marketing strategy (affiliate/social/media/pr/partnerships etc.)
· Overseeing and creating a sales strategy and lead creation.
· Managing brand development and associated marketing.
· Overall responsibility for awareness and lead generation.
· Working with the co-founder to close partnerships and affiliate deals
· Optimizing the effectiveness of existing marketing channels such as emails, social media, website, etc., based on data-driven insights
· Maintaining relationships with decision-makers across our target client/customer base
· Ultimate responsibility for revenue generation

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in Growth, Sales or Marketing, ideally in the health, wellness or fitness sectors
- 2+ years of experience in a managerial role is a bonus
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills
- Demonstrated expertise in managing marketing or sales budgets/teams
- Demonstrated experience facilitating/leading growth or sales in a start-up or small business environment
- In-depth understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Matomo, Fathom Analytics, etc.)
- Knowledge of campaign management tools (Active Campaign, HubSpot. Mailchimp, Salesforce, etc.)
- A passion for fitness and lifestyle related businesses and the desire to turn a hobby into a career
