Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the design and implementation of data warehouse solutions for our FP&A team. The ideal candidate will manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with business goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and IT professionals.
- Data Warehouse Design: Oversee the design and architecture of data warehouse solutions to support FP&A activities.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of data warehouse solutions through rigorous testing and validation.
- Reporting: Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Training and Support: Facilitate training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support post-implementation.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve data warehousing solutions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, with a focus on data warehousing or business intelligence projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data warehousing concepts, SQL, ETL processes, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills, including experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with FP&A processes and financial systems.
