We are currently partnered with a leading pension consultancy, supporting them in their search to appoint a Consultant as part of the growth to their specialist DC division.
This role would see you provide a wide spectrum of advice, as required by a DC scheme and as such we are looking for someone with excellent relationship and governance experience, good technical knowledge and a broad understanding of investment.
Main responsibilities in this role would include:
- Building and leading relations with clients, ensuring their needs are identified and met, as well as driving forward the client relationship where appropriate
- Getting involved with new business pitches for DC Consultancy work
- Lead and support on projects, including master trust / GPP reviews and selection exercises, advising on the buy-out and wind-up of pension arrangements, overseeing AVC reviews
- Managing a portfolio of clients, supporting them with ongoing governance via regular meetings, working collaboratively with all stakeholders, focussing on improving member outcomes
- Working alongside investment colleagues providing investment advice on your clients.
In order to be considered for this role, our client is seeking individuals with:
- Demonstrable experience of working within the UK DC pension scheme advisory sector in a consultancy environment.
- Ideally PMI qualified with some years of post-qualification experience or other relevant qualifications such as FIA, FFA or CFA
- Excellent communication skills
- A commercial awareness
