Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Manager to be part of a team supporting the first major merger within the Higher Education sector in a number of years. The post holder will oversee the post-merger delivery plan.
Job responsibilities include:
- Oversee the post-merger integration plan with clear timelines and deliverables
- Ensure professional services are unified to support the school's vision
- Monitor and complete regulatory, compliance, and transfer commitments
- Support project leaders and ensure smooth programme execution
- Manage governance, reporting, and escalation for integrated projects
- Coordinate business cases for investment decisions
- Oversee budget, resources, and quality throughout the programme
- Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and regular progress reporting
Candidate profile:
- Relevant professional qualification in programme/ project management
- Track record of project and programme delivery in a complex business environment
- Proven experience of successful programme management, of a series of inter-related projects against performance indicators, budget and timescale
- Demonstrable knowledge of the management of major projects and programmes, and approaches to enabling change in large and complex organisations
Annual salary: £61,198 - £68,857
Contract type: Fixed Term for two years
Working hours: Full time
Location: Central London (hybrid working)
