Job DescriptionInvestigo are delighted to be partnering with a super exciting VC backed SaaS company in their search for a Commercial Finance Manager.
Important to note: The successful candidate must have a SaaS background and be comfortable attending the office at least 4 times per week.
The Commercial Finance Manager will take ownership of sales order management and various revenue-related processes. This role also involves reporting and analysis of our revenue metrics.
They will play a key role in collaborating with cross-functional teams, enhancing our financial reporting and analysis capabilities, and driving strategic financial insights to support our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Order Processing: Ensure all contract terms are accurately captured in our CRM and business systems and appropriately communicated internally. Handle complex agreements with precision.
- SaaS Metrics and Revenue Reporting: Responsible for overseeing the accurate tracking and analysis of key SaaS financial metrics.
- Revenue Incentive Management: Manage quota planning and sales commission, calculation and reporting, including other revenue incentive-related processes.
- Forecasting: Support the evolution of our revenue forecasting models to support strategic planning. This includes analysing various data sources to provide accurate projections, identifying trends, and assessing potential risks and opportunities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Operations, Data and other cross-functional teams to enhance reporting systems, track performance, and improve data integrity.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or Revenue Operations, specifically within high-growth SaaS.
- Ability to operate in a fast-growing environment, comfortable with ambiguity and able to strike a balance between speed and accuracy
- Experienced in commercial process design and implementation that ensures effective data capture for analysis and reporting.
- Proven ability to find end-to-end solutions to issues and work cross-functionally including Finance, Operations, and Data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex financial information in a clear and structured way.
- Proactive and inquisitive mindset, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record in financial modelling, advanced Excel/Google Sheets, and/or BI tools.
- Experience in CRM systems administration is preferred; familiarity with Hubspot is a plus.
