Role: Hotel Receptionist Duration: 3 Month initial contractLocation: Fulham (ON SITE)4 Days on 4 days off(Main Responsibilities): Leading the reception team on shift to enhance guest’s stay experience by welcome, check in, check out, special requests and room allocations.Engaging with guests to ensure they are made to feel comfortable and addressing any of their needs. Coordinating with other departments to ensure consistent standards are maintained and checks are in place.Ensure financial processors and audits are completed to ensure the hotel is not at a financial risk and all outstanding payments are recovered.The shift is led, and team members directed in a manner where they are motivated and engaged with their role. Driving team members to achieve their objectives/ targets and development goals by continuous on the job training.Working as a duty manager in an allocated shift when required.Support night team when required to cover shifts as necessary.Assisting with H&S protocols in the hotel.(Measures of Performance):Customer Feedback Audits Staff performancePROUD TO BE CHELSEA (Person Specification):Qualifications:EssentialsExcellent communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with both customers and members of staffExcellent customer care skills both face to face and telephoneAble to work shifts as required (flexibility)Excellent presentation skills Ability to train staff effectivelyGood Organisation and administrationAble to work as a team playerAble to work night shifts when requiredExperience:EssentialsOpera (PMS/ORS system) working knowledge2 years’ experience within the reception department Desirable Previous experience as Reception Supervisor in a 4-star HotelExperience in responding guest reviewsPlease apply to be considered for this role
