Key Performance Areas:
Stock Control and Management: - Monitor, manage and replenish stock (including PPE, consumables and tools) as per the min/max levels specifications.
- Place orders to replenish stock as and when required.
- Conduct and supervise quarterly and annual stock counts.
- Review and analyse variance reports and reconciliations.
- Sign off on all stock capturing and adjustments.
- Maintain and keep up to date asset register and HILTI system.
- Implement and maintain an accurate and efficient goods receiving and dispatch process.
- Implement SOPs.
Procurement and Financial Administration: - Obtain quotes for stock, (consumables, equipment, capex, spares) prior to processing purchase orders.
- Timeous placement of purchase orders and in accordance with the procurement procedure.
- Traceable Delivery/Dispatch of stock as per company procedures.
- Purchase order register kept up to date with spent and available balances.
- All purchases orders, supplier invoices and consignment notes filed as per company procedures.
- Implement and monitor company SOPs.
- Compile and submit weekly and monthly reports.
- Invoices are received, allocated and processed timeously.
Lead and Manage Team: - Overall effective and efficient management of the team.
- Monitor and rectify staff adherence to standards and procedures.

- Regularly review and assess staff performance and training needs.
- Identify and address potential talent and skills gaps (OR critical/key roles in team).
- Timeously manage employee relations matters that may arise.
Operations and Reporting: - Continuous maintenance of consumables store, workshop building/s.
- Maintain premises housekeeping requirements (safe and clean premises).
- Manage fleet logistics and maintenance (including Avis rentals).
- Monitor, review and sign off on wages and timesheets.
- Implement and manage waste management processes.
- Compile and submit weekly and monthly reports to management.
- All records, working papers, documents to be filed as per company policies.
- Trainees and Training Centre.
- Border documents.
Minimum Qualifications and Technical Requirements: - Diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics Management.
- 5 years relevant experience in an engineering environment.
- 5 years experience in leading and managing a team.

- Knowledge and experience with Occupational Health and Safety.
