Our client, a leading provider of managed services and solutions to the Hospitality and Enterprise sectors in Sub-Saharan Africa, is seeking a Networking Sales & Development Manager to join their dynamic and energetic team. With a significant number of hotels under management and a continual expansion strategy, you will aid in the company's growth as well as your growth within the company.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, conducting sales presentations, and negotiating contracts. The Senior Network Sales and Development Manager will work closely with the sales team to drive the company's growth and success.
Minimum Requirements:
Technical Requirements:
- Technical knowledge and experience with Ruckus, HP Aruba, and Cisco Meraki.
- Demonstrated experience in large-scale wired and wireless projects.
- Strong understanding of network topologies, layout, and design.
- Knowledge of network design, deployment, and installation processes.
- Familiarity with infrastructure service and maintenance.
Sales Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 to 10 years experience in sales and business development of networking infrastructure, particularly in the hospitality and enterprise sectors.
- Existing network of contacts and customers with a successful sales track record.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage and respond effectively to the needs of new and existing customers.
- Competence in negotiating pricing with customers and suppliers.
- Ability to create accurate sales forecasts and budgets.
Personal Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong drive and tenacity to seek new business and achieve sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the continent and attend meetings/training in Europe/Middle East/SADC.
- Demonstrated initiative and strong decision-making skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities in the Hospitality, Enterprise, and Educational markets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Conduct technical sales presentations and negotiate contracts.
- Self-generate leads and cold-call prospective customers.
- Manage and respond effectively to the needs of new and existing customers.
- Plan and discuss promotional activities with the marketing representative.
- Negotiate pricing with customers and suppliers in collaboration with the Sales Director.
- Create sales forecasts and budgets.
- Travel across the continent and attend meetings/training in Europe/Middle East/SADC as needed.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to drive company growth and success.
