This position will be responsible to effectively manage & administer the entire treasury function.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Manager: Revenue & Treasury and will be part of a structured Finance team. The role manages the Treasury Clerks & Administrator.
We're a fully in-office team. This role is based at our Support Centre in Kuils River, Cape Town.
JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
KNOWLEDGE required:
- Knowledge of banks & financial institutions
- Ability to identify risks in financial processes
- Excellent knowledge of cash flow policies and practices
- Knowledge relating to foreign currency transactions and the financial accounting thereof will be an advantage.
SKILLS required:
- Ability to work under pressure
- High Levels of computer literacy – advanced Excel
- Attention to detail
- Deadline driven
- Excellent time management, planning & organising skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Performing detailed financial analysis & forecasting
- Problem solving
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial processes within a finance environment.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in people management.
Preferred:
- Retail experience will be an advantage.
- Experience in forex & treasury management will be an advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Essential:
- B Comm or equivalent financial qualification
Preferred:
- B Comm (Hons)
- Articles of financial clerkship completed or in progress
