We are recruiting a Customer Technical Manager to provide dedicated technical service to internal and external customers, ensuring product quality and customer compliance with customer standards. You will be key in managing relationships with M&S, Ocado, and other customers while supporting the business with technical innovation and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Manage customer technical development to drive growth and competitive advantage.Ensure product safety, legality, and quality to protect the business and customer requirements.Lead innovation, quality improvement projects, and new product development (NPD).Be the main point of contact for customer teams, hosting visits to Flamingo and supplier sites.Maintain accurate customer specifications and communicate technical policies to internal teams and suppliers.Support the technical agenda in line with Flamingo's business objectives.Use data to monitor performance and ensure the business is meeting “fit to supply” standards.Optimise systems and processes to create a more efficient, cost-effective business.Skills & Experience:Proven experience in managing product quality, food safety, and compliance.Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in produce or prepared produce.Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.Formal qualification in food science or agronomy preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.How to Apply If this sounds like you, please apply via the link.
