Your role and responsibilities
Location: India, Middle East, Africa Region (IMEA) As a Senior Principal Solution Consultant in IMEA, you will support the growth of the region from a technical sales perspective. The ideal candidate is just as comfortable leading a solutioning workshop with a client or working on small scale projects (offline or online) themselves. They need to be versed in the value that APM can bring to a customer but have the technical depth to answer detailed questions about how the solutions work. Their primary objective is the growth of Digital business within the region with a secondary role of supporting customer success as needed.
- Support the growth of our APM business from a solution consulting or technical sales perspective.
- Evangelize our APM solutions both internally and externally.
- Work cross-functionally across ABB to implement and expand our digital strategy.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their needs and aspirations, and guiding them on their journey to meet and exceed those needs.
- Lead discovery workshops with customers to thoroughly understand their needs, current state, and the potential value of addressing their challenges.
- Deeply understand customers' challenges to serve as both an internal advocate for them and an empathetic guide.
- Collaborate with our value pillars to solve customer problems.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and the competitive landscape.
- Mentor junior team members.
Qualifications for the role
- Proven expertise in Asset Performance Management and deep technical knowledge in asset management, machinery health, and industrial risk.
- Strong experience in client relationship management and a customer-focused perspective.
- Solid understanding of industrial software solutions, including Historians, ERP systems, IoT, and automation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
