As a prominent player in the electronic trading sector, the organisation is looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer with technical account management, account management and presales ideally with a focus on electronic trading.
Key Responsibilities for the Presales Engineer
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients during the pre-sales process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key technical stakeholders at client organisations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements and design tailored solutions.
- Develop and propose technical solutions that meet client needs and align with their business objectives.
- Conduct detailed product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients.
- Organise and present proof of concepts (POCs) and workshops to showcase product capabilities
Required Qualifications for the Presales Engineer.
- A degree in a related subject.
- Over five years of commercial sales or technical account management experience.
- Experience in Cloud, SaaS, and PaaS computing.
- Demonstrable and proven track record of selling software within financial services, ideally for an ISV, Exchange, or MTF type business.
- Ability to implement and integrate solutions onto demo sites.
- Develop solutions against existing standards and practices.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance (desirable).
