Qualifications required: - Degree in Finance, Information Technology or Information Systems
Skills and experience required: - 5+ years experience within a systems/process or business analysis position
- Retail or Financial Services industry experience
- Have a strong understanding of accounting practices
- Proficiency in test-driven development
- In-depth knowledge of finance
- Proven experience in enhancing financial solutions, including integration, reconciliation, accuracy, scalability, and robustness
- Experience with SQL, JIRA, SAP, and Reconart
- Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform
- Ability to apply agile or waterfall methodologies to develop Business Requirement Documents (BRD) into Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
- Hands-on experience with software development and documentation
- Strong project management skills and exposure to implementing and designing business solutions
- Expertise in facilitating training sessions and presentations
- Above-average computer literacy with MS Office, MS Project, and Google tools
- Capability to explain technical details and solution trade-offs in non-technical terms
- Solid understanding of business systems and ability to develop and communicate ideas clearly
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to respond in a supportive, patient, and approachable manner
- Ability to support and manage processes across multiple systems or within a single system
- Competence in configuring applications on the back end or front end (without development)
- Effective collaboration and team work skills
Job description: - Deliver system improvements and project outcomes
- Focus on addressing non-stable and scalable areas within the financial domain
- Gather business requirements from users (business owners) and facilitate their needs
- Draft and understand Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and translate them into Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), engaging with business owners to resolve questions
- Discuss specifications with PIT or third parties to ensure accurate understanding of business needs
- Provide support services for system-related queries and problems (both technical and non-technical)
- Offer training and facilitate knowledge acquisition and transfer within the team and business
- Address ad hoc queries and tasks
