Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the mining industry.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting.
- Utilize CRM (Salesforce) and business intelligence tools (PowerBI, Tableau) to manage customer data and generate insights.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven track record in sales and account management within the mining industry.
- Strong understanding of the mining value chain and industry dynamics.
- Existing relationships within the Southern African mining fraternity.
- Proficiency in account planning, forecasting, and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the region.
- Experience in filtration is advantageous but not essential.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with hydraulics, defense, automotive, or fuel & gas industries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Systems and Training
- Atmus utilizes Salesforce, PowerBI, and will be transitioning to Tableau.
- Comprehensive training will be provided for individuals unfamiliar with these systems.
