Administrative Assistant with Safety and Compliance Responsibilities
Position: Administrative Assistant
Location: Alberton (May be required to travel to site from time to time)
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties including data entry, managing correspondence, and organizing meetings.
- Filing: Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems, ensuring documents are easily accessible.
- Safety Management: Manage safety files, ensuring all safety documentation is current and compliant with regulations.
- Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and report any issues.
- Report Compilation: Prepare and compile reports as needed, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Executive Support: Provide occasional support to the Managing Director, including scheduling and coordination of meetings, travel arrangements, and other tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably with safety management responsibilities advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Drivers Licence Critical
