Position: PA and Admin Coordinator
Salary: R25 000 to R30 000 p/m
Our client in the Agricultural Industry is looking to hire a Personal Assistant/Admin Coordinator to manage the office of the MD and offer the level of support required.
Primary Purpose of the Job:
- Organising of meetings: Checking availability, consulting on dates, finding venue for the meeting, organising catering, handling paperwork, preparing documents.
- Travel: Getting quotes from travel agents, liaising to ensure service level is obtained, applying for visas, arranging all transport, creating full itinerary, ensuring all supporting documents for travel are arranged, obtaining expenses.
- Diary coordination and management: Checking mails, arranging meetings.
- Filing: Implementing and obtaining system, ensuring all files are accessible and up to date.
Email and Correspondence:
- Always act in a professional manner.
- Screening of information and redirecting appropriately.
- Internally – listen and give support.
- Externally – keep good relationships.
General Office Administration:
Give support wherever necessary when needed.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- BA Degree or National Diploma in Admin.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a senior environment.
Language Skills:
- Read, analyse, and interpret general business periodicals, journals, and regulations.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions.
- English and Afrikaans spoken.
Numerical Skills:
- Basic ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Ability to compute and interpret graphs.
Computer Skills:
Internet software.
Driver’s Licence:
Required.
