We are seeking a highly skilled and creative senior designer to join our dynamic advertising agency. As a senior creative designer, you will be responsible for conceptualising and producing visually appealing and effective designs for a variety of advertising campaigns across multiple platforms. Your keen eye for detail, strong conceptual thinking, and ability to deliver innovative designs will be critical in driving our clients' brands forward.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop design concepts and strategies for advertising campaigns, including print, digital, social media, and other marketing materials.
- Translate client briefs into compelling visual designs that align with the brand's identity and campaign objectives.
- Create and execute design concepts for a wide range of deliverables, including brochures, posters, banners, social media ads, websites, and other promotional materials.
- Ensure that all designs are visually appealing, engaging, and consistent with the brand guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design quality and effectiveness.
- Work closely with the copywriters to integrate design and content seamlessly.
- Present design concepts to clients, providing clear and persuasive explanations for design choices.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure accurate implementation of designs across various channels.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and delivering high-quality work within established timelines.
- Maintain organised files and documentation of design assets for future reference.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a designer in an advertising agency or related field.
- 5-8 years’ experience.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work across different mediums and campaigns.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) as well as the Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout composition.
- Knowledge of current design trends, digital media, and social media platforms.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts and collaborate with team members and clients.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in design work.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and client feedback.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field.
