Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain a par level of stock on hand.
- Supervise and manage stock takes.
- Ensure accurate stock takes.
- Delegate tasks that need to be fulfilled to your junior barmen.
- Ensure that all bar staff work correctly with all alcohol to minimize waste and maintain accurate stock counts.
- Resolve staff grievances between the barmen or between barmen and other staff; escalate unresolved issues to the manager.
- Manage bar staff to complete duty checklists and maintain consistency in drink preparation, ensuring all staff know the appearance and recipe quantities of each drink.
- Reprimand bar staff as necessary.
- Assist in the development of new menu cocktails and drinks.
- Ensure that all storerooms are neat and tidy, and that all bar staff adhere to a standard for stock organization (delegate this task).
- Think of and implement new systems to enhance operational efficiency, subject to approval.

Pay: From R8000,00 per month
