Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sanlam Life Limited and is one of the top financial services providers in the South African entry-level and emerging middle market. It aims to understand the unique requirements of clients and offers a wide range of simple and affordable financial solutions that cover needs such as funeral insurance, savings for education, life cover, and personal accident plans. SDM is managed by the SA Retail Mass cluster, part of the Sanlam Life and Savings cluster within the Sanlam Group.
What will you do?
The purpose of the role is to provide new and existing clients with professional and relevant financial advice, planning, and products (sales) that are suited to their needs. You will undertake the procurement of sustainable business of high quality in accordance with the business targets set and maintain long-term relationships with clients, building loyalty to the brand and generating ongoing advice and sales.

- Networking, prospecting, and leads generation

- Strengthening existing relationships by increasing current service.
- Client consultations and sales
- Ensure all client interactions are compliant in terms of disclosures and advice given.
- Conduct a financial needs analysis to ascertain the client’s full financial situation.
- Provide sound personal financial planning advice.
- Client Service
- Ensure all client interactions are ethical, courteous, and professional.
- Strive for excellent, value-added service to clients.
- Monitor, update, and reporting
- Document and present the number and profile of contacts, appointments, and consultations.
- Update client details on records.
Qualification and Experience
Grade 12 and FAIS
