The appointed Global Digital Marketing Specialist will form part of a Global Brand and Design team, which essentially operates as our own in-house Brand and Design agency. The Global Digital Marketing Specialist will work alongside the Head of the Global Brand & Design team.
The successful candidate must have a passion for all things digital, especially SEO and Google Ads, as well as staying on top of the latest technologies that might affect marketing activities. This role will have a digital marketing focus, supporting all business units across the globe in all our targeted industries (Distribution, Wholesale, Retail, Automotive, Rental). Close collaboration with the wider creative team will be required, starting from concept right through to production to support digital marketing efforts, whilst working with various stakeholders across the globe for input and alignment.
The successful candidate will need to be an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist, with the ability to run independently with all the business’ Google Ads (Display, Search, Remarketing etc.) and advise and work towards top of Search Engine Results Page (SERP) for both organic and paid advertising and provide monthly feedback and recommendations.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will continuously need to advise on SEO best practices, provide monthly feedback and recommendations, and work alongside all stakeholders and Web Designers for all our websites/industry sectors to implement recommendations.
They will also be experienced in YouTube and Social Media advertising.
The Digital Lead Specialist will need to have an in-depth knowledge of digital platforms and provide insights, advise and provide information on new technologies and how they affect our digital marketing efforts such as AI and stay abreast of the latest developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders across the globe to support their digital requirements, obtain input, and align with local campaigns to promote the business and support lead generation.
- Implement, run, monitor, and advise on Google Ad efforts for all business units across the globe.
- Provide monthly Google Ad reports for each region/business unit - advise on what’s working well, make recommendations for improvement, track implemented changes, and provide feedback.
- Manage SEO for any and all the business’ websites across all industries and regions. Work with local teams to implement recommendations and track results/progress.
- Provide monthly SEO reports for each region/business unit - advise on what’s working well, make recommendations for improvement, track implemented changes, and provide feedback.
- Work with local regions/business units for social media advertising requirements once briefs have been submitted.
- Work with the Global Brand and Design team to execute creative requirements for social media advertising after obtaining input and briefs from the relevant stakeholders.
- Provide monthly reports on social media advertising - advise on what’s working well, make recommendations for improvement, track implemented changes, and provide feedback.
- Provide input on the latest technology affecting the business and digital marketing such as AI and stay on top of changes to the various digital platforms, including Google Ads and social media, and provide feedback to all stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- Digital marketing qualification and Google Ad certifications.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a digital specialist.
- Strong understanding, knowledge, and experience in Google Ads, SEO, social media advertising, and others.
- Ability to interpret briefs for digital marketing campaigns and manage projects from start to finish.
- Ability to work with stakeholders and designers for the creative aspect of digital marketing requirements.
- Bring new exciting ideas, communicate them to all stakeholders, gain input, and implement.
- Organized and able to plan and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate or present ideas.
- Can thrive under pressure.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Tech savvy.
