Reporting To: Warehouse Manager
Primary Objective: Responsible to keep all relevant documentation up to date.
Responsibilities include:
- Capturing goods received from Suppliers and Third-Party packers on the system, ensuring documentation is filed appropriately.
- Requesting & completing documentation for picking of bulk, components, stationery, finished product and literature.
- Ensuring all documentation & procedures are adhered to and complete.
- Reconciliation of Third-Party packers.
- Expected to know company’s products.
Main Tasks:
- Ensure timeous processing of MFG’s.
- Request picks and reconcile items picked and validate shipments.
- Request warehouse picks according to Product Supply instructions.
- Ensure packing list is compiled correctly (Codes, description, quantities, batch, expiry dates and weights).
- Submit and control outstanding order reports on a weekly and monthly basis with the Product Supply department.
- Inform Product Supply department of a Special Order for Stationery.
- Combine stationery requests and capture all stationery issued weekly.
- Reconcile packed stock (Tracking) i.e. moves, returns, batch transfers and adjustments per month.
- Assist with individual DSC’s stock requests based on verbal or system reports.
- Assist with stock taking process and stock control of all Warehouses and Third-Party packers.
- Ensure the entire warehouse office is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Update reports on a daily basis.
- Assist with projects as required by the Warehouse and Distribution Manager.
- Act on all reasonable instructions given by Line Management.
- Daily communication with all Departments and Suppliers.
- Perform ad hoc duties from time to time.
Technical Skills:
- Good understanding of the Company business operations will be an advantage.
- Timely and accurate reporting.
- Must be able to reconcile.
- Minimum Grade 12 Certificate backed by at least three years relevant experience.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills.
- EXCEL and WORD proficient.
- Knowledge of Sage X3 will be an advantage.
- Good flair for Accounting.
