Will be responsible for the day to day running of the office of a small to medium sized company in the FMCG industry.
Duties:
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager assisting with de-briefing drivers, check deliveries are scheduled and booked, routing, workers time sheets, etc.
- General Administration.
- Assist Bookkeeper where required i.e. invoicing, stock etc.
- General PA function to management.
- Compile reports on Excel spreadsheets.
- General purchasing of office supplies etc.
- Deal with couriers.
Inherent Requirements:
- Matric and additional qualification preferred.
- General Office Management experience with a focus on warehouse assistance i.e. de-briefing drivers, check deliveries are scheduled and booked, routing, etc.
- Some General Accounts experience.
- Strong administration experience.
- General accounts knowledge – send statements, ensure payments are up to date, monies collected etc.
- Able to multi-task across various day to day activities, able to prioritize.
- Meticulous, pay attention to detail.
- Strong Excel working knowledge i.e. able to compile reports, spreadsheets, formulas etc.
- “Quickbooks” working knowledge a plus, or any accounting package knowledge definite benefit.
- Assertive, able to work effectively in a busy environment.
- FMCG experience would be a benefit.
