YOUR DAY TO DAY LIFE
We are looking for a HR OFFICER in STELLENRYK BUILDING, CONSTANTIA PARK, 16TH STREET, MIDRAND, JOHANNESBURG, GAUTENG 1685 ZAF. Your mission will be to:
- Manage recruitment processes by attracting top talent, assessing applications, interviewing applicants, conducting selection tests, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management on staff appointments.
- Maintain and manage personal records of employees on matters such as wages, leave, and training, and prepare associated management reports.
- Assess organizational needs and individual training needs together with the Training and Development team for planning and implementing skills development within the organization.
- Use management information systems to record, maintain, plan, and manage the organization's human resources.
- Provide HR advice and information to management and employees on personnel policies and procedures, including equal opportunity and anti-discrimination.
- Advise management and employees on work issues, career development, and organize Employee Assistance Programmes.
- Guide management and staff on the optimal application of the performance management process and systems.
- Manage internal and external disciplinary and rehabilitation processes.
What we are looking for:
- HR related qualification.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years proven work experience as an HR Administrator or HR Officer.
- Good understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Sound understanding of regulation and compliance administration (BCEA, LRA & SDA).
- Written communication skills for correspondence, reports, and HR content.
- Results-focused and deadline-oriented.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Above average Excel skills and a strong understanding and interest in data analysis will be advantageous.
