Our client is a Human Resource, B-BBEE and Labour consulting and outsourcing specialist firm who are expanding their team of HR Consultants. This opportunity would suit an individual who already has consulting experience and is keen to team up with like-minded individuals and be part of a well-established consulting practice.
HR CONSULTANT(GENERALISTS) As a consultant, you will provide a
generalist HR outsourced service to their clients who are mainly small to medium sized businesses across various industries. You will have a wide grasp of the full spectrum of the HR life cycle and will be as comfortable putting basic HR processes in place as you are addressing HR strategy and being a HR support to your client’s executive team. Ideally, you will also have a strong grasp of labour law and labour legislation.
You are the kind of person who loves a challenge, enjoys variety and can juggle working with different client demands across various industries.
More specifically, confidence, knowledge and experience in the following areas is required:
- Conducting an HR Audit
- Employment contract drafting
- Policies and Procedures drafting
- Job Analysis and Job Profiling
- Performance Management and facilitation of performance reviews
- Talent Management, Talent Development and succession planning
- Skills Development Facilitation
- Employment Equity Consulting
- Strategic HR initiatives
- Coaching and Mentoring of Management and Junior HR staff
- Being a sounding board at a strategic level to our clients about people issues in their business
- Industrial Relations & Labour Law
- BBBEE knowledge would be distinctly advantageous.
Requirements - Minimum 10+ years’ experience in the HR field
- Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology Degree
- Passionate about HR and organisational effectiveness
- High level of professionalism and integrity
- Ability to work flexibly, independently and be self-motivated
- Up to date with the HR & IR field
- Strong planning, organising and co-ordinating ability
- Entrepreneurially minded and interested in growing the client base.
- Excellent people skills at all levels including tact and discretion
- High level verbal and written communications skills in English
- Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
- Highly computer literate (Excel in particular and comfortable with technology generally)
- An enquiring mind and collaborative mindset.
- Valid Driver’s Licence and own vehicle
