Night Shift Job Description
As part of the Port operations team, you will play a key role in helping shape our business in London during the night shift. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee our night-time operations in central London with a strong focus on conducting regular visits to our e-hubs. This will involve the following:
- Nightly Patrols and Hub Visits: Regularly visiting our e-hub locations throughout the night to ensure that all hubs are operating smoothly. This includes identifying and resolving any issues on-site, conducting maintenance checks, and ensuring that processes are being followed.
- Quality Assurance at E-Hubs: Performing nightly quality checks at each e-hub, including rubbish management, bin placement, and overall site cleanliness. You'll be responsible for documenting these checks with before and after photos posted in a dedicated Slack channel.
- Rider Engagement During Patrols: While on patrol, you will engage with riders, gather feedback, and provide on-the-spot training and support regarding rental processes and e-hub rules.
Your night shift responsibilities and tasks will include:
- E-Hub Patrols: Conducting regular patrols and visits to e-hubs, ensuring that each hub is in optimal condition, and addressing any issues that arise during the night.
- Vehicle Retrieval: As part of your patrols, you may need to retrieve missing vehicles from e-hubs and ensure they are correctly positioned for the next day's operations.
- Quality Assurance & Rubbish Management: Completing thorough QA checks at each e-hub during your visits, managing rubbish, and ensuring that all e-hubs meet the required standards. Documentation of these checks will be done through Slack.
- Rider Feedback + Onboarding Sessions: During your hub visits, spend time engaging with riders, collecting feedback, conducting surveys, and supporting onboarding sessions when necessary.
- Support for New Hub Launches: Assisting with the launch of new hubs during the night shift, ensuring that all preparations are in place for smooth day-time operations.
