ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a talented Head of Performance Marketing - a skilled growth socialist who is highly data-driven with demonstrated success in leading marketing efforts across both D2C and B2B functions. You will be a key part in driving growth for Ocean Bottle to become #1 Ocean Health Brand by shaping the vision, strategy, positioning and plans based on sharp customer, product and market insights.
You’ll oversee the Growth/ Performance Marketing team. You’ll be responsible for delivering strategies to grow new customer acquisition plans across all performance channels.
As part of the Marketing Leadership Team, you’ll collaborate with your peers and work with the CMO to create the global vision for performance marketing. You’ll also work to develop and nurture relationships with stakeholders across wider team leads to deliver exceptional results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively develop and identify new strategies to further scale performance marketing function across multiple channels while maintaining efficiency
- Implement and continue to refine a comprehensive framework for evaluating performance marketing spend with a focus on optimizing key metrics like CAC, LTV and ROI
- Continue to improve our Amazon, Paid Search and Paid Social channel growth metrics
- Unlock and scale up other channels like Linkedin, TikTok, Youtube, Affiliates plus any other performance channel opportunities
- Drive the development of end to end marketing and digital acquisition strategies on global scale (UK, US, EU and ROW)
- Manage, optimize, innovate and expand performance marketing channels through a test-and- learn approach to maximize cost-effective customer acquisition
- Partner effectively with our brand, creative and B2B marketing teams to drive a cohesive marketing strategy for the business
- Serve as a critical thought partner to the CMO and other senior leaders on adapting our performance marketing strategies as our business continues to evolve
- Oversee Ocean Bottle companion app marketing including strategies for driving installs and in-app engagement
- Collaborate with Sales, NPD, Impact, Tech, Ops, Procurement and wider business leads to identify efficiencies and improve effectiveness in our acquisition channels through innovations in strategy, targeting, delivery, process, and new capabilities
- In depth analysis, reporting and forecasting on key performance metrics, identifying areas of opportunity across all online acquisition channels to support company’s growth targets and drive future strategies
- Demonstrate curiosity and outside-in thinking on best and evolving practices, and ensure the team is constantly at the edge of the newest high potential opportunities or ways of working
- Apply critical thinking skills to identify and size new acquisition opportunities and make new recommendations to drive business growth
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who will have experience in the following areas:
- You have 10+ years’ experience within a relevant experience in both D2C and B2B growth marketing
- Highly data literate individual with experience of running paid search, social and Amazon channels in-house
- Global experience; specifically US GTM strategy development
- Proven track record of leading successful performance/ growth marketing functions and demonstrated significant growth in a turnaround or start-up / scale up environment
- Proven record of managing budgets, leading the development of multi-channel consumer growth strategies.
- Self-starter with a high degree of commercial acumen
