As the Director of People Change & Consultancy Practice at Flutter UKI, you will play a crucial role in crafting our HR and people strategies. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, UKI you will be an integral member of the People Leadership team and wider Extended Leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a newly formed team and establish our Change & Consultancy practice that will be embraced across our organisation. Your contributions will be crucial in providing a new capability and driving a high-performing, inclusive culture that puts people at the heart of decision making and aligns with our ambitious business strategy.
What You'll Do
- Develop our consultancy practice within the UKI People team by setting propositions and providing a range of services that support successful HR-led projects and business-enabled people change.
- Manage the UKI People team's workload, ensuring capacity for different types of work while maintaining business capacity.
- Build an environment to develop a consultancy team that offers a variety of people solutions, products, and services to establish standard methodologies and effective playbooks.
- Building and leading a team responsible for delivering and embedding people projects and change successfully.
- Leading a portfolio of initiatives, ensuring all plans are aligned and delivered flawlessly while articulating risks and dependencies.
- Establishing effective governance forums to gather, understand, and present project and change lifecycles for effective decision-making.
- Leading the change portfolio by providing a framework that enables successful reporting and fosters true collaboration.
- Improving standard methodologies in people change and project management by improving skills and offering appropriate resources, support systems, and guidelines.
- Promoting change in line with standard methodologies, identifying process improvements, and implementing colleague-centric practices to drive business outcomes.
How You’ll Do It
- Bringing to bear capabilities from the wider Flutter Group to ensure consistent standards that deliver the right outcomes for the UKI division.
- Using an agile methodology to run a sophisticated portfolio of work in a constantly evolving environment with multiple senior collaborators.
- Engaging with a diverse group of senior partners, employing data-driven insight and methods to influence decision making and align approaches.
- Applying integrative and critical thinking to develop solutions that drive positive business outcomes.
- Building a compelling case for change that supports the organisational narrative.
What You'll Bring to the Role
- Seasoned senior People Director experience in designing, planning, and delivering sophisticated projects and people change programs.
- Extensive experience in various HR fields and the ability to effectively coordinate different areas.
- Extensive experience in target operating model and organisation design, delivering change to cost and time.
- Proven track record of influencing senior leadership teams in a complex matrix environment.
- Developing data into insights that shape recommendations.
- Willingness and ability to travel if required.
