Your new role:
As the Procurement Assurance Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the development as well as on-going management of reporting requirements to ensure compliance with the Procurement Act 2023, through effective business engagement and collaboration.
You will play a crucial role in leading and managing compliance to the Act, with a particular focus on those notices related to the planning and contract management stages.
By proactively engaging departments, providing training, advice and leading on the publication of required notices via the centralised digital platform, you will mitigate risk.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, statutory and regulatory requirements of Public Contract Regulations (2015), and an overview of the Procurement Act (2023) and relevant changes.
- Experience of building and managing effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience in influencing, negotiation, and communication of complex issues.
- Advanced IT and systems skills including Microsoft office and data analysis techniques.
- CIPS level 4 (or willing to work towards)
