Some of the things you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with your team to manage your client's portfolio, managing transactions whilst offering advice from our internal processes
- Complete VAT reviews and filings
- Complete CIS reviews and filings
- Communicate with HMRC on an adhoc basis including VAT applications
- Pro-actively take on responsibilities and administration tasks as required by your clients and/or manager,
- Ensure all tasks and associated actions are followed through to completion with the aid of a tracker discussed regularly
- Become an expert in technical matters relating to funds, including any regulatory requirements that are applicable to your clients
- Ensure client records are clearly updated with all correspondence/information
- Communicate openly and honestly with clients on a regular basis
- Provide support in the opening of bank accounts and communications related to specialist blocked accounts
- Be responsible and approachable when given tasks by a senior team member
- Provide new, innovative ideas on how to improve the efficiencies of daily tasks
- Take care of and establish good relationships with all suppliers, team mates and clients
- Drive personal development using all the resources available at CSC to achieve success
- Accurately record all time spent dealing with client matters to ensure the clients are correctly invoiced
- Assist with quarterly invoicing
- Adhoc project related tasks and associated testing
- Monitor daily completion of team mailbox and post delivery assisting first hand in annual leave of junior members
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- At least 1 or 2 years of experience on an Administrative role
- Experience in the banking, financial or trust area is preferable
- Experience in VAT or dealing with HMRC is necessary
- Be able to deal with tasks independently and use own initiative
- Must be committed and driven to achieving excellence for themselves and their client
- Be pro active and forward thinking
- Experience in a similar role, potentially including Real Estate Funds administration exposure.
