Job DescriptionPosition: Senior Ecommerce Manager:
My client is a highly profitable and long standing leader in Luxury home furnishing and part of their growth strategy is to invest in Ecommerce. The role will report into the Marketing Director and will be responsible for driving brand awareness, customer acquisition and also generating leads/visits to their showrooms(they are very impressive). They pride themselves on conveying a consistent luxury brand experience and this role will contribute to that.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan and deliver best-in-class digital marketing activity to maximise lead generation and web sales, owning and leveraging channels including PPC, SEO, CRO, email and paid social. Currently delivered mainly by an agency.
- Manage a team of team 1-2
- Manage and implement the web and product strategy, ensuring that the site is merchandised and UX optimised to drive conversions.
- Develop and implement the SEO strategy to drive growth in organic rankings and traffic.
- Develop and implement the PPC strategy to drive both lead generation and conversion.
- Build and own the email plan (campaigns and lifecycle) to drive sales, lead conversions and customer retention across key customer segments.
- Actively seek, test and optimise opportunities across audiences, creative, messaging, landing experiences and channels to maximise investment and deliver a consistent and personalised customer journey.
- Develop relevant engagement and commercial KPIs for all channels, with clear metrics that demonstrate effectiveness and contribution to growth.
- Lead the performance analysis and reporting of marketing activity, summarising progress against the plan and highlighting key learnings and opportunities for future improvement
Your experience:
- At least 5 years’ experience in an e-commerce role (ideally focused on luxury/high-cost products).
- Strong track record of delivering commercial results via all Digital channels (PPC, SEO, CRO, Email and Paid Social) for online purchases - any experience of Lead Generation is desirable
- Experience of Merchandising and Web Development - can be hands or managing
- Management of agencies
- A tenacious and commercially astute self-starter who is process driven and possesses excellent attention to detail.
- Analytical mind, with the ability to collate, analyse and present data leading to clear insights and actions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to confidently and articulately communicate with senior management.
- Well-organised, logical and efficient with outstanding project and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics 4.
- Experience of website CMS (Paraspar experience highly desirable).
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS preferred.
- Both B2C and B2B experience is preferred, but not essential.
The role is based in Central London and they work 2 days a week in the office. Basic salary upto £65,000 plus a discretionary performance bonus of upto 15%, 25 days holiday, Private Healthcare and Pension - min 5% employer contributions
