About the Role:
As the Product Marketing Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in driving product education, adoption, and strategic market positioning. Your mission will be to enhance enhance customer understanding of the product, how the product is perceived and used, ensuring that potential customers and partners understand its full value, leading to higher adoption rates and reduced churn. This role will involve working closely with product teams, shaping go-to-market strategies, and delivering impactful product education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Education and Adoption: Own the product education strategy, creating engaging and informative content that drives user understanding and adoption. Develop video content and other educational materials to highlight product features and benefits.
- Strategic Positioning and Messaging: Craft compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates with target personas. Develop content for launch assets, marketing programs, and strategic scenarios. Refine the go-to-market strategy to reflect customer insights and improve funnel conversion rates.
- Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions. Understand customer challenges, pain points, and the competitive landscape to shape effective messaging and pricing strategies.
- Sales Enablement: Develop and maintain sales enablement materials such as product decks, battle cards, and case studies. Support the partnership team in communicating the product’s value to agency partners.
- Knowledge Base Development: Create and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base that enhances product education and supports user engagement.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 4-6+ years in Product Marketing, with a strong background in B2B SaaS. Proven experience in taking a product-led brand up-market and building new strategies.
- Important: Candidates with a strong track record in positioning, messaging, and creating sales enablement materials, even if they have not held a formal Product Marketing title, are encouraged to apply.
- SaaS or PLG: It is essential that the chosen candidate has worked either in a B2B SaaS business or a PLG environment.
- Content and Creativity: Demonstrated ability to create engaging product content, including videos, blog posts, and educational materials. Experience in expanding beyond typical marketing playbooks with creative and impactful content.
- Strategic Insight: Skilled at understanding and crafting strategic product messaging. Experience with persona development and tailoring messaging for different market segments.
- Collaborative and Results-Driven: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and partnerships. Focused on driving user acquisition, product adoption, and revenue growth.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in market research and competitor analysis. Experience in understanding customer behaviors, especially in mid-market segments.
