Role Summary:
The successful candidate will focus on the development of highly productive and robust cell processes. The ideal candidate must be a strong team player and have the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. A strong affinity for the laboratory, data analysis, and process optimization with demonstrated success using cell processing techniques is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop manufacturing processes for cell therapy products.
- Design experiments and perform hands-on work in a cell culture laboratory.
- Perform technology transfer and process training for eventual GMP clinical production.
- Hands-on execution and collaboration on process design laboratory studies to support process development, optimization, and further characterization and essential process improvements.
- Provide leadership and SME support across MSAT, QA and QC, as well as cross-functional teams.
Experience:
- Knowledge of bioprocessing equipment and hands-on experience with different biopharmaceutical unit operations
- Demonstrated cell culture and aseptic processing experience is required including basic cell culture lab techniques such as cell passaging, cryopreservation, formulation of media, aseptic technique using a BSC, cell counting, and managing reagents
- Understanding of process development
