Business Development AdvisorSalary: £28,994 - £33,650 (depending on experience)Location: Hybrid working based in Nottingham, with travel across the East MidlandsAbout the Role:We are looking for a proactive and driven Business Development Advisor to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about building relationships, generating new business, and promoting apprenticeship opportunities. The role is based on a hybrid working model, with some travel across the East Midlands region.Main Purpose:Generate and secure new business opportunities through apprenticeship vacancies and upskilling programmes.Build and maintain relationships with employers to maximise revenue, ensuring a quality service throughout.Continuously improve processes and practices, contributing to overall organisational quality enhancement.Key Responsibilities:Proactively plan and execute sales campaigns through telesales, field sales, networking, and social media to meet monthly targets.Develop a continuous pipeline of business opportunities to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets.Engage new employers across various sectors to generate apprenticeship opportunities.Research and develop a database of local and regional employers for targeted sales campaigns.Attend employer events to identify and generate new business opportunities.Conduct employer visits, promote services, and perform Training Needs Analyses where applicable.Complete all necessary employer-related paperwork, ensuring compliance with funding and health & safety requirements.Provide excellent account management to maximise opportunities with new employers.Liaise with internal teams to coordinate employer recruitment needs and ensure eligibility checks for upskilled learners.Build positive working relationships across the organisation to share knowledge and best practice.Achieve individual and team income targets in line with the Sales Strategy.Maintain and update employer databases, generating reports and performance metrics for the management team.Be a company ambassador, contributing to the Sales Strategy with fresh ideas and insights.About You:The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with strong sales skills and a passion for apprenticeships. You will have experience in generating business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and meeting sales targets.
