We are looking for a self-starter to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction.Activities will include:planned preventative maintenance as part of pre-agreed service contracts, this will involve changing out worn parts and checking associated components for wear and tear on both mechanical and electrical systemsproduce timely and detailed service reports related to BEUMER sortation and material handling equipmentsupporting installation projects, modernisations and warranty workattend breakdowns with the ability to troubleshoot, test and repair technical equipmentoperational and residential site coverworking individually and as part of a team on various customer sites around the UKlow Level Controls: Siemens S7 PLC, TIA Portal, Profibus, ASi-Bus networkspopulating RAMS related to the work to be undertakenensure H&S standards are adhered toThe CandidateTo be successful in your application you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:proven field service experience with the ability to build positive relationships with customerspossess a high level of electrical/mechanical control knowledge and awareness have experience of or be able to quickly develop a working knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC, TIA Portal, Profibus, ASi-Bus networksshould have a broad knowledge of Material Handling systemsmust have an electrical or multi-skilled qualification – ONC or Equivalentmust be able to fault find on electrical and mechanical systems to diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutionscooperate with technical team and share information across the organisationcomprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefingsmust be willing to travel nationally and occasionally internationallyQualificationsAdditional InformationCSCS, First Aid, IOSH, IPAF qualifications would be an advantageEnglish literacyAdditional informationFlexibility will be required as there will be night, weekend work and some call-outs to suit the customer requirements.Ideally the candidate will be situated in the Midlands or North WestAdditional InformationHealth and wellbeing support, including shopping discounts.Recommend a friend initiative.Increase in holiday entitlement with service.Sick Pay.Pension25 days holiday plus bank holidaysEnhanced paternity/maternity pay
