We want to attract, develop and retain individuals with different experiences, backgrounds and perspectives.About the Role:This role will involve the following:Training and assessmentComplete functional skills reviews with learners and identify skill and knowledge gapsDevelop and take responsibility for the delivery of individual training plans tailored to learner needsMaintain records relevant to individual learners on BudAccess and work with BKSB software and analytics as applicableDeliver high-quality training to exceed awarding body quality standards for functional skills, in the workplace or remotely using Teams, as appropriate to the learners' requirementsWork closely with the Exams Officer to ensure learners are prepared to sit exams as swiftly as possible whilst on programmeDeliver training using approved training resources for groups or individualsDeliver lessons using Teams ClassroomEnsure all learners attend sessions as per the minimum requirements and missed sessions are recovered, e.g. recordings are watched or one to one sessions bookedSupport Tutors to ensure they take full responsibility for their learners and set, monitor and record progress and follow the exam protocolCo-ordination and SupportMonitor learner progress and provide support in completion of exams working closely with the Tutors and Exams OfficerDetailing, monitoring, recording and reporting of learner progress to Exams Officer and Apprenticeship TutorsSupply information to employees and employers to support apprenticeship programmesProvide appropriate data and information regarding the programmes and learners as required and contribute to the regular self-assessment monitoring processAttend CPD and Standardisation events as appropriate (remotely and at the office as required)AdministrationComplete all relevant documentation in order to progress the recording of new learners on the programme in collaboration with the Admin Team and Bud softwareEnsure Outlook calendar is up to date at all timesMaintain documentation that records the progress of learners on programme against specified targetsEnsure Team's Classroom calendar is up to date with the next term's sessions availableComplete documentation in relation to visits to employers and relationships with learners and employers on BudEnsure timely achievement of all learners on programme and moving learners to the next level if requiredOtherAny other duties connected with the post as are reasonably required from time to time Attend Best Practice Network's conferences and events as required (Bristol or Road show)Equality & Diversity Support and promote equality and diversity at Best Practice Network to ensure equality of opportunity for all learners, visitors and staff and the elimination of discriminatory practicesSafeguarding Support and promote the safeguarding agenda at Best Practice Network to ensure learners, visitors and staff are safeguarded.About You:Essential CriteriaHold a qualification or have experience in delivering high quality functional skills training at Level 1 and 2 remotely and face to faceHold Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy qualificationsHave experience of working with employers in a training or customer relations roleAble to develop strong professional relationships with employers and learnersHave strong IT skills and be willing to work with e-portfolio'sCan motivate learners and ensure they complete on timeHold a full driving licence, have own vehicle and be willing to travel to customer sites Have high levels of motivation and the ability to use own initiativeRobust internet connection at place of workDesirable CriteriaHold an assessor qualificationHold a relevant degreeExperience of working in Further Education or a similar environmentOur Benefits:28 days holiday and get an extra day for each year you stay with us, up to max 33 days PLUS bank holidays.We pay for a Healthcare Plan once you've passed probation, which includes access to a private GP.From day 1, free life insurance covering up to x4 your salary.We'll both add money into your pension pot after 3 months.Get 25% off online learning resources for year 1 to GCSE with EdPlace.Choose what flexible benefits you want after you've passed probation - this could be buying extra holiday, dental, topping up your healthcare plan, bikes, gym membership, electric cars and give as you earn.
