The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. This role requires a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, project management, and team leadership. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the software development industry and possess exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire operations of the company, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency which includes financial aspects of the company, growth and development of the company, retention of employees and ensure overall health of company.
- Oversee all aspects of project delivery, from inception to completion.
- Lead and mentor the development team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement operational strategies and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Identify and address operational challenges and risks.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
- Manage and optimise operational costs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a management role within the software development industry.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Azure, etc.).
- Excellent operational management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
