This is a remote position.
We have the need for a Brand Designer from 2 October onwards to work on ongoing projects.
Responsibilities will include: - Realise intelligent, thought-provoking and innovative creative solutions.
- Possess a strong conceptual and creative approach.
- Think holistically about the creative solutions, not just the visual outcome.
- Present and articulate your thought process to the rest of the team, wider business and clients.
- Comfortable both creating and working to brand guidelines.
- Day-to-day liaison between Client Services and other functions (Digital, Content, Media, Finished Art etc) within the agency.
- Ability to scrutinise, breakdown and fully understand the requirements of the brief to ensure your response meets or exceeds expectations.
- Support Senior Designers, and the Design Director and Creative Director in getting projects across the line.
Requirements Essential Criteria: - A recognised graphic design qualification.
- 5-10 years’ agency experience in all areas of brand and design.
- Enviable portfolio of creative work.
- Commercially aware – clear understanding of how your work adheres to marketing strategies and business goals.
- Confident and assured decision maker.
- Specific experience in brand development and rollout.
- Demonstrable campaign experience.
- A solid understanding of how brand and design works in digital and traditional application.
- Proficient in Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Concept-led, informed by strategy and insights.
- An insatiable curiosity to delve and discover the most compelling solutions.
- Strong typographic and layout skills.
- Ability to storyboard concepts for video or animation.
- Comfortable creating style guides to pass work to junior or Finished Artists for roll out.
- Maintaining high standards of quality and making sure only the best work is released to the employer or client.
- Articulate and engaging, comfortable presenting to clients and peers alike.
- Calm under pressure, well organised and responsible.
- Above all, you have a desire to raise the bar constantly, and the tenacity to push past it.
Desirable: - Understanding of UX and UI with campaign crossover to social media and digital assets.
- An understanding of Adobe XD.
